My Philosophy
Your body knows how to be healthy.
With the stresses of life, poor diet and a lack of exercise, our bodies don't always have access to everything they need to be truly healthy. Our bodies do the best they can with what they're given, but after a while symptoms start cropping up. Through the use of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, foot reflexology, Chinese dietary therapy and lifestyle adjustments, I'm here to tutor you on how to provide to your body the building blocks of health and to remind your body how to use them most efficiently!

My Path to Chinese Medicine
I came to love acupuncture when it cured me of my eye allergies. After 5 years of being absolutely miserable day in and day out with no relief from the various medications that were prescribed, I turned to acupuncture as a last resort. After only 2 weeks, they were tolerable, and within one month they were completely gone. Forever.
Yep. I was hooked.
During one of my treatments, my acupuncturist and I talked about school and my plans to become a veterinarian. I'll never forget the light bulb moment when she said, "Don't forget acupuncture for animals!" Of course!
I decided to attend acupuncture school as well as veterinary school.
Along the way my plans have changed a little - while in acupuncture school I soon fell in love with treating people and I learned that the law allowed me to treat pets as an acupuncturist!

Treating Pets
I was extremely fortunate to be able to do an informal apprenticeship with a very generous veterinarian who taught me how to treat pets with acupuncture. I love that I am able to use this medicine to help all members of the family feel their very best!
