There are a ton of acupuncturists here in Portland (as you may have noticed!) so it's important to find the right acupuncturist for you! It's kind of like finding the right hairstylist - don't worry if the first acupuncturist you try isn't the right match, you'll know when you find the one. Here are a few things about me and my treatments to help you decide if you think we might be a good match:

• I love to laugh with my patients - after all, laughter is the best medicine! It releases feel-good hormones which jumpstarts your acupuncture treatments. It's like a two-for-one deal!
• I love helping people through whatever health problems they're currently dealing with - I kind of love my job! But I especially love treating allergies, skin conditions and auto-immune diseases as I know first hand what it's like to deal with them and have some pretty awesome tricks up my sleeve.
• I use a combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbal formulas, and Chinese nutritional advice to help build healthy habits which remind your body how to be healthy again. Everyone gets homework - but don't be scared - this homework helps fill in the time between treatments so that you feel better faster!
• I will never recommend something to you that I haven't tried myself first. I like to make sure that my referrals and recommendations are safe and effective!
• I'm an AcuNerd! I LOVE this medicine, so feel free to ask whatever questions come to mind!

I was born and raised right here in Portland and absolutely LOVE my hometown.  Where else can you get to the beach, the mountains, the Gorge or the high desert all within just a few hours' drive?

I fell in love with acupuncture when it cured me of my allergies, and for a girl who loves the outdoors, that was a REALLY big deal!  I recognized the power of acupuncture and Chinese herbs and wanted to help other people discover the world of Chinese medicine!
